There are a variety of olive oil types and each has many and varied uses. Visit our Types of Olive Oil and Uses of Olive Oil pages for detailed information.
Why don’t all olive oils taste the same?
Olive oil is made from the olive fruit; the variety of fruit, the area in which it is grown, the blend and the cultivation process all impact on the taste of an olive oil. The uniqueness in taste in olive oil (e.g. peppery, mustardy, fruity, grassy etc.) is what differentiates each brand from the next.
